Welcome from...

Fr. Barry

Rev. Barry J. Gamache

Pastor

Spiritual Director, Region 4, C.Y.O.

Welcome to St. Mary's! This Web Site will attempt to give you, the user, a glimpse of our Parish. We have attempted to tell you about our Parish from many different points of view.

The About Us section will tell you who maintains the parish for its parishioners. Here you will find a summary of our history. If you are planning a wedding and want to see what our church looks like inside, you will find a photo gallery showing you how magnificent is! You can ask Fr. Barry questions and get a sample of his humor. If you are interested in discovering the history of our beautiful stained glass windows, you will find some answers here, too!

In Parish News, you will find our calendar of events within the Parish, the weekly bulletin, schedules for Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, and Lectors. Religious Education information will also be found in this section.

The Our Faith section will explain what makes the Roman Catholic Faith special. You will find brief explanations of the Sacraments and the parts of the Mass, and how to say a Rosary. You will find the Ten Commandments, and the important Precepts of the Church. We list the Holy Days of Obligation and the rules of Fast & Abstinence. The Angelus and Mary's beautiful, Magnificat are listed along with the Stations of the Cross and the Books of the Bible. We include a link to an online Catholic Bible.

Interested in becoming a parishioner? We provide a Web page that will allow the user to Register as a parishioner.

St. Mary's Church is responsible for maintaining St. Mary's Cemetery here in Bristol. On the Cemetery page you will find the rules and regulations are for the cemetery. The cemetery is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Lastly we provide some Links to other Web Sites of interest to fellow Roman Catholics here in Bristol, RI, and throughout the world.
