Catholic Charity Fund Appeal: This year’s theme is “Works of mercy need a hand.” By working together we can bring Christ’s message out into the world. We as a family of faith can help bring a little light and a little hope to thousands of people each year by supporting the appeal. As you fill out your envelope, just take a moment to thank God for all He has done for you and be as generous as you can. Please consider a pledge. Whatever you can do, you will be doing it for those who really need you, members of our one family in Christ. That’s why I support this appeal and I hope you will too. Thank You!

Praise God Mission accomplished! Our Lenten Mission was a spiritual success with hearts touched, hurts healed and people comforted. Thank you to our lector Diane Davis; altar servers Gregory Battison, Sarah Healy, Alex Curran, Brittay and Matthew Bisbano; mission assistants David E. Barboza, Rick Taft, Joseph Gomes James Welch; our music ministry of Ken Bryant, Celia Gomes, Andy Stone Dee Eddy, Mike Marino and presenters Michael DiMucci, June Scanlon and Judith Dyer. Special thanks to our Sexton Paul Barboza and our Welcoming Committee under the direction of Mary MacDonald and to all who baked for our reception. Finally, to all who attended, your prayer preparation and participation was faith filled. I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Fr. Barry for entrusting me with his most precious possessions: the parishioners of St. Mary’s. May God continue the good work he has started here at this parish. Deacon Paul J. Bisbano

Adoration-What is it? Eucharistic Adoration is the fact of worshiping God as He is present in the consecrated Eucharist. Spending time before the Blessed Sacrament, in prayer and devotion, is exactly the same s spending time before the living God. Adoration occurs in many forms, but especially in a focused and most perfect way when the Blessed Sacrament is exposed for adoration. Our Chapel, located at the rear of the church, lower level, is open every Wednesday from 9 AM to 9 PM for adoration. From 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM, The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is recited as well as the Rosary. From 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM there is communal prayer including the above and various other prayers. Handout sheets are available. Why not spend time in quiet moments-or in joining parish members-to worship your Maker?

4TH of July Float: I hope you have started to think of a design. We need a patriotic theme that includes our parish. Your idea should be submitted to Fr Barry. Should your design be chosen, you will receive a $100.00 gift certificate to S S Dion.
