One or both of the couple must live within the parish boundaries, and be active (registered) parishioners of 12 months before a request will be considered. (No exceptions)

If you are a newly engaged couple, congratulations!

The Office of Marriage Preparation and Enrichment of the Diocese of Providence exists to help you prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage in the Roman Catholic Church.

If you fit the criteria above, inquiries for 2027 are accepted by email only.

The Church is handicap accessible, heated and air conditioned.

Local only inquiries are received (and replied to) Monday thru Friday from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

The church is open weekdays 9:30-12:30 for viewing.

ALL DATES REQUIRE COMPLETE AVAILABILITY CHECKS FOR CHURCH AND CLERGY.

Friday wedding start times are scheduled between 11:30-4:30 PM. Latest rehearsal time (Thurs) is at 4:00, no exceptions.

Saturdays, our afternoon start time is 1:30 PM (no exceptions). Latest rehearsal time (Fri) is at 4:00, no exceptions.     

On Sundays, weddings start beginning at 2 PM up to 3:30PM to start. Rehearsal 1:30 (Sat), no exceptions.

Rehearsals are scheduled for the day before.

IMPORTANT REMINDER:

After your marriage you MUST register as a new family in whatever parish you plan on living (even if it is St. Mary’s Church).

Otherwise, you will not be considered a registered member of any parish.
